Terms of Service
Welcome to Pure Love. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Pure Love ("Pure Love", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of https://purelove.chat and any related services (collectively, the "Services").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. About Us
Pure Love is operated by Pure Love, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, with its principal place of business at (to be updated upon company registration).
2. The Services
Pure Love is an entertainment platform that uses generative artificial intelligence to create fictional characters ("AI Companions") that you can chat with, exchange messages with, and view images of. The AI Companions are not real people. All characters, names, conversations, and imagery are computer-generated. Any resemblance to real persons is unintentional.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is older), to access or use the Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that accessing adult-oriented content is legal in your location.
We reserve the right to verify your age at any time and to suspend or terminate your account if we have reason to believe you are underage. See our Underage Policy for details.
4. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@purelove.chat if you suspect unauthorized access.
We may refuse registration, suspend, or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms, applicable law, or our other policies.
5. Subscriptions, Tokens, and Payments
Pure Love offers paid subscriptions ("Premium") and consumable tokens ("Tokens") for image generation and other features. Specific pricing is shown at checkout and may change at our discretion.
Subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing period (monthly, three-month, or twelve-month). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and you retain access until then.
Tokens. Tokens are a digital good purchased in advance. Tokens never expire as long as your account remains active. Tokens have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable between accounts.
Payment Processors. Payments are processed by third-party providers including CoinGate (cryptocurrency) and other processors we may add. By making a payment, you agree to the applicable payment processor's terms.
No Refunds. Except where required by law or in our sole discretion, all subscription fees and Token purchases are final and non-refundable. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of subscription periods or unused Tokens.
EU Users — Right of Withdrawal Waiver. If you are an EU consumer, by initiating use of the Services and consuming digital content (sending messages, generating images) before the end of the 14-day cooling-off period, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU.
6. AI-Generated Content
You acknowledge and agree that:
(a) The Services use generative artificial intelligence. Outputs are produced by machine learning models and may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected. We make no warranty as to the quality, fitness, or accuracy of any AI-generated content.
(b) AI Companions are fictional. They are not therapists, medical professionals, financial advisors, lawyers, or other licensed professionals. Do not rely on AI Companion outputs for medical, legal, financial, or professional advice. If you are experiencing a crisis, contact emergency services or a licensed professional.
(c) Conversations may feel realistic but are simulated. Any statements suggesting real-world meetings, real feelings, or tangible outcomes are entirely fictional and should not be acted upon as if they were real.
(d) You are solely responsible for your inputs. Do not share sensitive personal information (real names, addresses, financial details, government IDs) in conversations.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction or any jurisdiction where the Services are accessed
- Generate, request, or share content involving minors in any sexual, suggestive, or harmful context (zero tolerance, see Blocked Content Policy)
- Generate, request, or share content depicting non-consensual acts, violence, gore, bestiality, or content prohibited under our Blocked Content Policy
- Impersonate real persons, including public figures, celebrities, or any identifiable individual
- Infringe any intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademark, or rights of publicity
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Services; bypass rate limits, paywalls, or moderation controls; or attempt to "jailbreak" the AI Companions
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services without our prior written consent
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Services or any AI-generated content without our written permission
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or stalk any person, including our staff
- Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
We monitor for violations using automated and human moderation. Violations may result in warning, content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination, with or without notice. Severe violations (especially those involving minors) will be reported to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.
8. Intellectual Property
Our IP. The Services, including all software, designs, trademarks, AI models, and the Pure Love name and logo, are owned by Pure Love or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You receive no rights other than the limited license granted in these Terms.
Your Inputs. You retain whatever rights you have in the inputs you provide. By submitting inputs to the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display them solely to operate, improve, and provide the Services.
Generated Outputs. Outputs generated by the Services are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or use outputs to train competing AI models. We retain all rights in the underlying models, training data, and any portion of the output not specific to your inputs.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it carefully.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
WE ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS, MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, MEDICAL CARE, OR LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PURE LOVE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pure Love and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your inputs, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third-party right.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) will survive.
14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Informal resolution. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at legal@purelove.chat and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the matter within 60 days.
Binding arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. Arbitration will take place in Wilmington, Delaware, or remotely at the arbitrator's discretion.
Class action waiver. You agree that any arbitration or proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class action, consolidated action, or representative action.
Exceptions. Either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible, or seek injunctive or equitable relief in court for intellectual property infringement.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by notice posted on the Services. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
17. Miscellaneous
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely.
